• You might be feeling overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or disconnected from yourself in ways that are hard to put into words.

You don’t need to have everything figured out to begin. Therapy can be a place to slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and begin to feel more grounded and connected.

  • My work draws from Somatic Experiencing® and Internal Family Systems—approaches that attend not just to your thoughts, but also to your nervous system and your inner experience.

Here’s a little bit more on both approaches:

    Somatic Experiencing®

Somatic Experiencing is a body-based approach to healing that focuses on your nervous system.

Rather than only talking about what’s happening, we’ll gently notice what you’re experiencing in your body—sensations, tension, shifts in energy—and learn how to support your system in finding more balance.

This work isn’t about pushing or reliving overwhelming experiences. It’s about slowing things down, building awareness, and helping your body come out of patterns of stress or shutdown at a pace that feels manageable.

Over time, this can support a greater sense of grounding, regulation, and ease.

    Internal Family Systems

Internal Family Systems is a way of understanding the different parts of you—like the part that pushes, the part that worries, or the part that shuts down.

Rather than trying to get rid of these parts, we approach them with curiosity and compassion. Each part has a reason for being there, even if it doesn’t feel helpful right now.

In this work, you begin to relate to these parts differently—creating more space, clarity, and a deeper sense of connection within yourself.

This can lead to less inner conflict and a more steady, grounded sense of yourself.

  • Sessions are collaborative and move at a pace that feels manageable for you.

At times, we may slow things down to notice what’s happening in your body or explore different parts of your internal experience. At other times, we may simply talk through what’s been coming up.

There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready. We’ll move in a way that supports a sense of grounding, safety, and choice.

Over time, many people begin to notice more clarity, steadiness, and a deeper sense of connection with themselves.

What is therapy really like?

Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all.

We’ll move at a pace that feels manageable and work in a way that supports your system—not overwhelms it.
